Refrigerator

A PHARMACY SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH:

  • A refrigerator, sufficient in capacity to serve the needs of the pharmacy, that is equipped with a thermometer and providing at all times a storage temperature of 2 degrees to 8 degrees Centigrade (36 degrees to 46 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Use of such refrigerator shall be limited to the storage of drugs

TEMPERATURE LOGS - VACCINES

  • If your temperature monitoring device does not read minimum/maximum temperatures, then check and record the current temperature a minimum of two times per workday (at the start and end of the workday) [Page 13]
  • Keep the logs for three years [Page 11]
